MeLiS — Teaching
The Melis laboratory is actively involved in training students from the international Master of Life Sciences ("Sciences du Vivant") at University Lyon 1. Launched in 2022, this program adopts innovative pedagogical approaches and emphasizes transdisciplinary methods that push the boundaries of modern biology.
Students attend lectures by renowned scientists from various world-famous local and international institutes. They receive a solid scientific background in various aspects of biology, including cell and molecular biology, biophysics, modeling of complex systems, regenerative medicine, etc.
Thorough training in oral presentation, grant writing, research, and review paper writing provides students with a solid foundation for scientific communication. By the end of this 2-year program, students should be prepared to pursue a PhD program in any field of modern biology.
This program offers the following tracks: M1 Sciences du Vivant & M2 Frontiers in Biology.
